About Us

The St. Lawrence Woodcarvers Association originated in 1975. With a current membership of 55 Carvers, we meet Monday evenings from September to May at The First Baptist Church in Brockville from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM.
A wide range of experienced Carvers from beginners to world class contenders meet and mingle learning and sharing skills. The club encourages and promotes all types of carving, Birds, Fish, Bark, Relief, Caricature, Pyrography, Soapstone, Wood Spirits, Interpretive, Spoons, etc. and everyone is more than welcome to join. Consider becoming a part of our incredible group. It’s well worth checking us out.
Our members come from all over the region, including Athens, Mallorytown, Northern New York State, Prescott, Gananoque, Kingston, Westport, Cardinal, Spencerville, Wolfe Island, Brockville, etc. etc.
The Club also offers an extensive number of resources and learning opportunities through workshops and mentoring.
