COVID-19 virus

COVID-19 can’t stop a woodcarver
Let’s keep in touch during social distancing by posting pictures of the progress of our carving for all our members to see. We can help our friends to feel less isolated, more involved and cared for. Let’s be kind and share our art.

Pinterest
https://www.pinterest.ca/stlawrencewoodcarvers/slwc-carvings/ You can think of Pinterest like a web-based pinboard or bulletin board—but with greater organizational functionality. People typically pin or save images they found on the web (or on Pinterest itself) to different boards (used to categorize their image collections). Many of the images saved on Pinterest are clickable, and open up in a new tab to the original web page where they were found. VISIT OUR PINTEREST BOARD.

Video Conferencing

Video conferencing enables us to meet on line and see all of the other club members who chose to participate. We can chat show our work, conduct on line training – basically do everything we do on Monday nights from our own homes. This is a great way to support members who are isolated and and for all of us to have fun.

When you are talking everyone will be able to see you and you can hold your carving in front of the camera to share.

You can share pictures on the screen of your device. It does not have to be a wood carving it can be any photo – I have a new grand son which I know everyone will want to see LOL.
